Rideshare Mileage Tracking

Automatic

This is what I use. If you’re doing rideshare on a regular basis and putting wear and tear on your car, I’d recommend this little device or something like it.

Not only does it track your mileage, but if the check engine light goes on in your car, it lets you know why. This could save you a lot of money. Is the light on because you left a gas cap off – in which case you can just tighten it, and use the app to reset the light – or is it something more serious that you’ll need to take time off the road to go see a mechanic. Plus, when it’s time to go see the mechanic, you’ll have a pretty good idea what’s wrong with your car, and how much it’ll cost before you walk in the door.

The price tag may look a little high, but when you consider that it’s a one-time expense, rather than a monthly fee, it pays for itself.
